MAYBE IT'S NOT MY WEEKEND!but it's gonna be my year Adjusting his bangs over his eyes, Adrien stared at his reflection in his mirror. He seemed tired, with light bags under his eyes and just a tired look in his eyes. Turning cold water on in the sink in front of him, he filled his hands before splashing it on his face, rubbing it as well. He hadn't gotten much sleep recently, having had crazy nightmares recently and not sleeping because of them. What was in the nightmares? We won't go into that currently, but they were there, and that's what matters. Groaning, he stood straight up, adjusting his hair once more, and exited back to the main room of his apartment. Weary eyes glanced around, searching for clothes to change into, now that the day had started. Grabbing a brown Glamour Kills shirt, he pulled it on over his bare chest. The shirt in question said "Dance! Shuffle! Shimmy! Swing! Shake! Glamour! Kills!" So yeah, it was pretty damn awesome. With shirt on, he grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and pulled them on, then slipping his feet into regular white socks and a pair of vans. Grabbing a Glamour Kills hoodie (he hadn't planned the double Glamour Kills deal, I promise you) he put it on, dragging the hood on over his brown hair (right now it was fully brown, though a lighter shade of it).
Adrien stretched before grabbing his phone and keys, sticking them in his pocket, then exiting his apartment room. He nodded to the old man that roomed next door, the man slowly making his way back to his room with a cup of coffee. He was nice enough, sure, but Adrien had the feeling he was pure human, and, therefore, rather wary of him, being part-human with powers, though the man was nicer than other humans he had met. The senior sighed as he walked out of the apartment building. Overall, he was glad to have it. He was alone there (well, unless a friend was over), and didn't have to worry about other people annoying the crap out of him, as they had done when he lived in the dorm rooms. He wasn't exactly the friendliest of people, and got annoyed rather easily. Not to mention he had a mean temper, really. You do not want to see him pissed, let me tell you. With a small sigh, he exited the apartment building, stepping out into the light of day.
The worst part about living in an apartment was the fact that the only apartment building was in the village, full of humans that, for the most part, hated and dispised the students that attended Winterthorne. And they had no reason for their hate, except for the fact that they were weird. The villagers knew that odd stuff happened around them (such as salt shakers moving around a table) but they didn't necessarily realize that they were the cause of the oddities. Some might, of course, but because the strange things differed, they didn't exactly realize the fact that each of them had powers, and, with said powers, could do different things. Some person with telekinesis could move a salt shaker about, but he couldn't, though he could make winds around a person. But the humans didn't know that. They just found the kids of Winterthorne weird, as freaks. And they had no clue what they really were. Vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, even fairies and elves. Sure, they could see the slight differences. Fairies were smaller, slender in appearance. Elves seemed more feline in most cases, lithe and long, with more prominent cheek bones than most. Each race had their own differences to the humans, some more noticable than others. And still, the humans, ignorant as they were, had no clue about them.
A light smile appeared on Adrien's lips as he thought of this. It was highly amusing, truth be told. Okay, sure, he was half-human himself, so he was dissing his own race, but it didn't matter. He grew up around vampires, schooled in magyck. To him, humans were not what he was. He may have human blood, but he was a demon, completely in fully, in mind. Though, of course, he was nicer towards humans than he had once been. Until earlier this year, he hadn't known of his human heritage, and had pretty much hated humans, not thinking them deserving of the magyck they had. His mother had taught him that. It was just what he grew up learning. Of course, when he found out (via his mother, though she hadn't known it at the time), however, everything changed. For some reason, he believed everyone would find out. (Of course, they would. Mindreaders knew everything.) So he couldn't just go on believing nothing had changed. Nor could he go on hating (and taunting) humans when he was one himself. It was hypocritical. And, if anything, he wasn't a hypocrite. At least not one on purpose.
Not paying attention, Adrien walked through the town, his feet carrying him...somewhere. He didn't know. The teen's mind was elsewhere, thinking. Thinking of the nightmares that raged in his mind at night. They frightened him, scared him. Enough that they woke him up at night, and hardly let him get sleep. Most of them started out as dreams, simple things that he liked. But then they changed, into scarier things. At least for him. Others might find his fears silly. His fear of love, of commitment. He couldn't help but be the way he was. For some odd reason, he just had that fear. Which was weird, when you think about the fact that he was currently dating a girl that he was pretty damn sure he actually loved. The girl that was pretty much perfect for him. Even so, he still had that fear. He didn't want to admit to himself that he loved her, which was why he wasn't sure that he did. He was scared that she was just playing him, and that by giver her his heart, she'd tear it to pieces. The commitment part, now. Yeah, he was dating her, which provided a certain level of commitment, but he was nervous of every second that she would just dump him on his behind for another. It wasn't him that had the problem of running off with others (not saying that Dani actually did that, he just believed that she might.). It wasn't his fault he had this crazy weird fear, but he did. And it was these fears his nightmares played on.
Glancing up, Adrien noticed, with great amusement, that he was standing in front of Downworlders. The place that he had run to after he had found that he was actually of mixed races. The place where Dani had found him, quite upset, and had helped him, even though he had tormented her like no other before. Made her cry on several occassions, made her yell on most. Back then, it had been a game. Who gets pissed off first? Shaking his head, the senior jumped over the fence. Nowadays, he pretty much hated thinking back to that time. He hated himself for being as cruel to the junior as he had been. He really, really liked the girl, and didn't like to think of all the times he made her yell, scream, even cry. Then again, most wouldn't like to think of times when you made your girlfriend or boyfriend yell or cry. Very few would like to think of such things, and he wasn't one of those few. He regretted his actions, and hated that he had made the girl hurt, pushed all her buttons. The boy hated that part of himself now. The worst part was the fact that he couldn't just forget it. He'd remember it as long as his memory was intact.
The half demon wandered about the broken down amusement park, flinching away from the clowns (he really didn't like them), weary, sleepless eyes looking at everything. Arriving at the swings, the place that he had sat when he had found out about his race, he sat down with a sigh. Slipping his phone out of his pocket, he flipped it open and close several times. He thought about texting someone, but didn't particularly feel like it. Right now, he just felt like sitting here. Maybe conversation with someone else that wandered around the park would be nice. You never knew who'd come around.

When he had woken up this morning, he hadn't really planned on going to the adandoned amusement park in the town. But he had wound up there anyway.
How? Well. Long story, really.
He'd woken up this morning, as per usual, in his dorm room. He was supposed to be moving in with Ezra. However...it hadn't quite happened just yet. Unfortunately. Sammii couldn't wait until they actually put that plan to action. They'd been about to do it before. Then they had to move to that other stupid academy. Now they were back, finally. He guessed Ezra just had to find the time. It seemed like he was always working nowadays... He got a few minutes before classes started; maybe a glance or two in the hallways; and a few minutes afterwards. Then Ezra had to work, or Sammii had committed himself to other friends. Even when the werewolf had decided to stay the night as Ezra's, there wasn't much more time added to that besides the mornings and at night before they went to bed. He hated that. That Ezra had to work after school and late into the night. It would be even harder when Sammii finally got a job. And he would need to eventually. He couldn't borrow money off of his cousins or brother forever.
But anyway, after he had woken up, he'd gotten ready. Grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and shirt. After he'd thrown both of them on, he had picked up his sneakers, sliding them on above a pair of socks. After that, he'd taken an hour or so to take care of himself--fixing up his hair, brushing his teeth, stuff like that.
Then, finally, he'd been done. Grabbing his key and his cell phone, he shoved them into his pocket and headed towards the girl's dorm. Maybe Dani would be there, and willing to hang out with him. However, when he'd peeked in, there hadn't been a Dani there, just a few other girls chatting who had waved at him. It wasn't an unusual thing to see him in there with Dani--so they never really cared. Well, some of them cared if he accidently went in while they weren't dressed in something they wanted to be seen in public in. But that wasn't often, thank goodness. He nearly died everytime that happened.
Since Dani wasn't there, though, Sammii walked back out, pausing when he'd made it off the school grounds. He wouldn't bother Ezra right now. Besides, he wasn't sure where the boy would be at. So...what should he do with himself? The mall...maybe. Yeah, that sounded good to him. The boy took off in the direction of the mall, turning down a few streets, then a few more. But then he bumped into a group of...six, guys? He wasn't sure. Just that they didn't appreciate litterally being bumped into. "O-Oh. I'm sorry," Sammii mumbled, looking up nervously at the one he'd crashed into. Which happened to be, just his luck, the biggest one. Within a minute or so, and a few rude words his way, the pack of guys was coming after him. Oh shit. I'm gonna get beaten up again , he thought to himself, taking off at a run down an alley.
Suddenly, after he'd been running to the point he was gasping for air, he came to a chain link fence. Downworlders? There wasn't really much chance to figure that out, though. He ran another few yards, until he came to a spot he could just fit through (and was definitely too small for the ripped guys still chasing him). He squeezed through the gate, a piece of fence sticking out scratching his cheek on the way. Flinching, Sammii continued, before the pack chasing him could find a way in themselves and get him still.
He slowed to a walk, breathing still uneven, as he came to the swings and saw a familiar figure. Adrien? The werewolf went over, plopping down on the swing next to him. "H-H-Hey..." he stammered, still attempting to catch his breath. The cut was slowly bleeding by now (actually, it had started not even a second after he'd recieved it), but he was still too worked up to realize it. The boy clutched his pale fingers around the chain-links of the swing he was sitting in.

MAYBE IT'S NOT MY WEEKEND!but it's gonna be my year It wasn't much of a surprise that his feet took him somewhere of their own accord again. They had done it a lot recently, so long as his nightmares had plagued his sleep, and he just walked about in a sort of daze. Of course, it was probably bad that he didn't know where he was headed. For all he knew, he could've just run into people. Of course, he actually didn't, but that's not the point. He most likely would have without any clue (well, until they started to hurt/chase him). Which wasn't a good thing. Running into people unknowingly wasn't really a good habit for one to get into. Especially if the people he bumped into were ripped or something. He wasn't that strong, really, he wasn't. And he didn't really want to use his powers on humans, not until it was a last resort sort of thing. Well, unless he was attacked with powers first. He wasn't about to single himself out as a Winterthorne student for no reason. Though it wasn't like people didn't already know that. But that's just how his mind worked, so you can shut the hell up now.
When Adrien had stepped outside the apartment building, he had noticed the nice weather. Really, it was nice enough to go without a hoodie, but it was pretty much his trademark thing. Besides, he could easily cool off if he got too hot in it. That was an advantage to the whole weather manipulation thing. He could make winds and cool off. But, overall, it was a really nice day. Especially for the area in Germany they were at, where it was usually fucking freezing. The water at Lake Adva (located within the grounds of Winterthorne, in case you didn't know) was usually frozen. But he could just tell that it wasn't today. It was summer, and they were having an unusually warm/hot season. If you asked him, it meant that trouble was brewing. Weird seasons made him feel weird. Probably because he had a sort of connection with them, him being all weathery and shit. Because weather is connected to seasons, so shut up. Hey, you don't see it snowing in summer, do you? (Unless you're in a coldcoldcold place, anyways.)
It was with a light groan that Adrien sank down onto the seat of the swing. Of all the places in Downworlders, it was probably his favorite to hang out at. Mostly because it was one of the most stable things there. Well, besides some of the fun houses, but a majority of those had clowns in or on them, and clowns most definitely weren't his thing. Freaky little buggers, they were, if you asked him. But seriously. The roller coasters there were rusting (those that were metal) and burned in places for the wooden ones. Because people thought it funny to burn parts of them. Just because they could. But very little on the swings was rusted, much to his surprise when he had first come here. One would think that they would be, but maybe other people really liked the swings, too, so they left it be, and used some preserving metal shit to stop the rusting. Or maybe people just rusted other stuff. He didn't know, nor did he particularly want to know. He was satisfied with just sitting on the swings and being content, letting the clanging of the chains commence around him. Just because he was sitting there.
As the senior sat there, simply thinking, fiddling with his cell phone, he suddenly heard angry shouting, and the sound of the fence rattiling slightly as someone hit it. Or something like that anyways. Adrien lifted his face, his eyes having previously been trained on the ground, looking for the source of the commotion. From what he gathered from the voices (shouting stuff like "Come back here you little rat" and "Get your skinny ass over here!") there were people chasing someone. That someone in question was Sammii, the half demon soon figured out when the werewolf appeared from around a little shack that could've been a little food court or maybe even a small store or something. He was running, although slowing down to plop down in the swing next to him. Blinking, he returned the stammered greeting, though his lacked the stammer. "Oh, hi." Of all people, he really didn't expect Sammii to show up. Yeah, Adrien knew the junior. Not very well, granted, but they were decent sort of friends, though he expected the other boy got rather angry with him whenever he was being mean to Ezra, who happened to be the werewolf's boyfriend, but that's how things were. Not to mention he happened to be the best friend of Dani. Funny how things worked.
Adrien just stared at the boy sitting next to him before he realized what had happened. Well, what he guessed had happened. Judging by Sammii's labored breathing he had been running. And, if he could guess by the confused, but still angry, shouting, he had been the one the people (he was pretty sure they were all guys by the vioces, but you never knew) had been chasing, and, obviously, had escaped into the amusement park. A light smile crossed his lips. Not from amusement (because that would be rather rude, and he hadn't remembered actually being mean to the werewolf himself.) but from simply liking the fact that he had company. "Sorry, you startled me for a second. Wasn't expecting anybody to be here, you know," he gestured around. Why? He really didn't know. He just did so, and you can get over it if you have a problem with that. Looking over at the boy, he noticed blood oozing down his cheek. "Hey, Sammii, you're bleeding." he said bluntly, a little surprise laced in his voice. Well, it was a surprise. He hadn't really been expecting that. Not to mention the surprise of him being here had caused him to not notice it before. Oh well. He saw it now and that was what mattered.

As the werewolf waited for a reply to his greeting, he looked down at the ground, attempting to catch his breath better. It didn't take long for a reply, however, and Sammii realized that Adrien seemed a little taken aback. The black-haired boy assumed that it was probably just the fact that he was here. After all, when you went to an abandoned amusement park by yourself, you didn't really expect to see anyone else here, right? Sammii wouldn't have. Besides, he didn't think that you were even supposed to be here, technically. It was shut down and locked up for a reason. Not that it stopped the high population of dumbass teenagers in the area. Well, he was sure that Adrien wasn't a dumbass. The half-demon seemed more like he had a particular reason that he was here. He didn't look like he was here to do anything bad -- just to swing. Sammii himself wouldn't have even come in here, expect for the obvious reason.
By now, Sammii's breathing was still labored, but it had definitely gotten better. The werewolf wasn't at all an athletic person. He never had been -- probably never would be. He was thin and weak. Too clumsy to do sports, and not to mention he couldn't even grasp the way that half of them were played. The guys that he had been facing had been huge and ripped. If they had wanted to, they definitely could have torn him into pieces. And there wouldn't have been much Sammii could do. Unless he wanted to use his powers. Even then, though, he didn't have anything that useful. Not like Ezra with acid. That was something you could use to stop a gang of guys from attacking you. He could...soak someone with water. Unless he wanted to turn into a wolf -- which would certainly freak them out. But that meant that then he'd have to bite them. He didn't really want to bite a bunch of dirty, scary guys either. Ew.
"Oh! I'm sorry," Sammii repsonded as he heard Adrien speak again. So he had, in fact, startled the other boy. Oops. He hadn't meant to do that at all. "I didn't mean to."
Sammii wasn't really sure what his and Adrien's relationship was like. Kind of...mixed, he guessed. They got along pretty well usually. Not to mention that Dani, the half-demon's girlfriend, was like Sammii's twin sister, basically. But he also remembered when Adrien had been cruel to her -- and how he had hated Adrien then. And Adrien wasn't always nice to Ezra (not that he could blame him -- Sammii knew that the demon was an asshole). It was better then all the people who were suddenly falling in love with his boyfriend, though. So, overall, he didn't really have much of a problem with Adrien. The guy was nice enough to him, after all.
'Hey, Sammii, you're bleeding.'
The werewolf's bright blue eyes widened. "I am?" he stated. It was more of rhetorical question; he didn't really think that Adrien would tell him that he was bleeding if he wasn't. What was more suprising was the fact that he was. Then he recalled that he had scratched himself squeezing through the fence. Oh. Right. The boy released a hand from the chain-links of the swing and raised it to his cheek, wiping at it. Then he looked as his hand. "Oh shit. Yeah." Damn. Ezra was going to be angry if he saw that. The other boy alwas did when someone beat up Sammii. Not that he had even been beaten up this time. It'd been his own fault that he'd gotten scratched. But Ezra would ask, and then find out. "Thanks for telling me," Sammii added on after another moment. He raised his hand again, wiping away some more, then looked at Adrien again.
"Ah... Are you okay?" he asked. "You look really tired, or something."

MAYBE IT'S NOT MY WEEKEND!but it's gonna be my year It wasn't like Adrien had purposefully didn't reply. If he hadn't been so surprised at the sudden appearance of the other boy, he was sure to have replied quickly and easily. Not to mention notice the bleeding earlier. It was just the whole suddenness deal. Not many people really came around to the abandoned amusement park. I mean, hello, it was abandoned, chained, locked up. People weren't supposed to be there. And yet. Here he was, along with the younger werewolf. Not many people were there (obviously) so he wouldn't expect someone else. Mostly it was a place for teens to just hang out. And usually be alone. Obviously not always, of course, seeing as how he was here with another. But that's beside the point. Then there was also the fact that he was extremely tired from the lack of sleep over the past couple of days. That also slowed the reaction time of a person. Even just the loss of one good sleep could slow reaction time, and here he was, having not slept in...four days, maybe? Yeah, that would definitely make him slower to react. At least to such a sudden thing, anyways. I mean, talking, regular talking without sudden appearances involved, he could do. It's not that hard to hear and comprehend something. Well, unless it was an entirely different language, but overall, it wasn't hard. But combine Sammii's greeting with such a surprising entrance, yeah. Took a second. Well, more than a second, but you get what I'm saying.
Even as Sammii's breathing slowed, the half demon wondered if he'd be all right. Of course, the junior was thin, and didn't have an athletic build, and who knows (except maybe Sammii himself) how long he had been running. Not to mention he didn't exactly know the boy's health condition. For all he knew, he could have asthma. Though he doubted it, recalling how hyper he'd seen the kid before. Not to mention running around with Dani constantly, which would require a great amount of energy to do. He must have just been running farther today than he had before, so of course it was understandable that he'd be out of breath. Adrien just hoped that he didn't collapse from lack of air or something. He really didn't want to have to go to the hospital, especially since he didn't particularly like the stark white interior that apparently was supposed to calm a patient, though he found it rather unnerving, not to mention the smells of anesthetics, and other such things. Not exactly pleasant. So yeah, he'd rather not have to go there because Sammii couldn't breathe. Plus he was sure that, him having been the one around Sammii when it happened, someone would try and blame him. He'd had it happen before. It just wasn't his thing.
A light smile appeared on his lips at the apology that fell from the werewolf's lips before he shook his head, brown bangs falling over his eyes. With a slight look of irritation, he moved them back to frame his face. Damn annoying bangs. "Nah, it's alright. You didn't scare me shitless, so you're alright," he replied with a grin. Having a girlfriend that was practically the sister of Sammii, he kinda got that the boy apologized a lot. It was kind of cute, in an innocent sort of way. The only people he'd ever apologize to were his friends. And maybe someone he didn't know if he was in a really good mood and had a cause for apologizing. If he had been in Sammii's shoes, he probably wouldn't have apologized, but then again, that was the difference between the two.
Of course, everything hadn't always been fine between the two. Back when Adrien had disliked (you could even say hated) and tormented Dani, he was pretty sure Sammii hated him, just because the relationship the other teen had with her. Of course, he hated thinking back to that time, so didn't dwell on it too much. There was also the time when the boy had accidently messed things up with Dani, and Dani had been upset because she didn't have her best friend. That was after the half demon had...reformed, we'll say. And when he was friends with Dani, and had even been dating her during that time. Adrien had pretty much disliked the boy then, too, for making her unhappy. But that had changed, and Sammii and Dani were best friends again, so everything was pretty much fine and dandy between the sort of friendship thing the two of them had. Or whatever you wanted to call it, because he sure as hell didn't know.
At the boy's surprised question (although rhetorical), the senior nodded, to affirm that he was. Hell, he was pretty much as surprised as the teen about it. Well, maybe not as much, but he was still rather stunned. Sure, Dani had spoken several times of Sammii's clumsiness, but it wasn't like he had actually seen any evidence of it. Though, getting scratched might not have actually been evidence of it, but it could be, and that's all that mattered. To him, anyways. Though he had seen clumsier. Like some short girl that had actually fallen over sideways in the hall. Yeah, weird. But whatever. He watched as the boy lifted a hand to his cheek, wiping some of the blood off (and in the process, lower on his cheek, too) and looking at it. "You gonna be okay? I might have a tissue or some shit in my pocket..." he trailed off, leaving the suggestion in the air. He knew there was something in his hoodie pocket. There usually always was, seeing as how he never searched the pockets of them until he put them in the washer, which he did like, every two weeks. Unless one got super dirty. "No problem. Didn't seem like you noticed, so," he waved the thanks away. Hey, he could be nice, too, sometimes. Plus, Dani would probably get a little pissed at him if he were to be mean to her best friend. And you didn't want that redhead mad at you for any reason.
"Eh?" he looked up, startled. Honestly, he wasn't expecting the sudden question. It was just...sudden. Sure, it was a general question, but still sudden. Not to mention his thoughts had wandered off slightly. Again. "I'm all right..." he trailed off as Sammii added something. With a rueful grin, he lifted his hands. "Ah, you got me there," the senior stated, wrapping his hands back around the chains that were connected to the swing. "I haven't been sleeping too well in the past few days. Damn nightmares getting me." Yeah, it was kind of childish to loose sleep over nightmares, but when they used whatever you were really scared of, they could frighten someone shitless.

Finally, Sammii had completely caught his breath. Then he began to move his feet back and forth. In turn, that made the swing do what it did: swing. He didn't go very high. Just sort of moved back and forth a few inches, maybe. The werewolf didn't really feel like actualy swinging. Not to mention that it would be kind of rude to do that while he was in the middle of having a conversation with someone. Then he heard something about a tissue and looked over towards the boy again. "Er...yeah, actually. That would be helpful," he answered a bit shyly. He always felt kind of like he was bothering someone when he did that -- even if they had offerred in the first place. But the cut definitely was kinda bad. A tissue would be very helpful. Otherwise he'd either have to leave it all over his face (which would probably make it look worse, and piss off Ezra more) or wipe it on his shirt or something (which was disgusting, and would still piss Ezra off). With a tissue, he wouldn't have to do either, and Ezra wouldn't be as pissed.
Which was always good for him. And the people the demon was pissed at. Though he was sure that there wasn't much of a way that Ezra could find out who was chasing him. Sammii had no clue who those guys were. Just some random humans that he'd never seen before.
When Sammii got the tissue, he thanked Adrien with a smile, and then wiped the blood off of his cheek, flinching a little when he pressed it against the cut. But, luckily the bleeding was already stopping. Which definitely made it easier to clean up. Otherwise it would have been kinda messy. And he would've needed more tissues. However, he was finally cleaned up, and the bleeding had stopped (at least, he thought so).
Sammii frowned a little as he heard the reason behind why Adrien looked so tired. "Oh, yeah... I know what you mean," he answered. "I, ah... Used to get them a lot. Its not fun." Actually, he still did get them. But by now he was more used to it. After his parents had died he started to get really freaky nightmares about them coming back. Or about Cathy, after he was seven and she had started to...hit him, and stuff. They still phased him when he had them, of course. But it wasn't anything too...startling, nowadays. Besides, since he had started to sleep with Ezra, the dreams started to disappear.
Without trying to make it to awkward, Sammii asked, "Do you wanna...talk about it...I guess?"

MAYBE IT'S NOT MY WEEKEND!but it's gonna be my year Adrien's eyes were trained on the ground, waiting for Sammii's reply. His vans scuffed the ground lightly, pushing his body back slightly on the swing. Hey, it was a swing. The purpose of it was to swing, so why not? Besides, it wasn't like he was really swinging. Just slowly, short swings. Looking over at the other boy, he noticed that he was doing the same thing. It's probably what he got for being the boyfriend of a girl that was practically his sister. For some reason, he wasn't extremely surprised. Instead, he just kept along with his small itsy swings. There wasn't much better that he could do, at least not at the moment. Well, besides just walk away or actually swing. But both of those things would be rather rude, and, while he might've done so to someone he didn't particularly care for, he had no problems with the kid, and, again, Dani would be pretty damn pissed if he was rude to him. He didn't want the girl mad at him. Bad things might happen.
With an amused smile at the werewolf's reply, he stuck a hand in his pocket, and, with relief, he did indeed find a tissue. Yes, it was clean, thank you. He did not keep used tissues in his pocket. Not for long, anyways. They wouldn't stay there overnight. Back to the amused smile. Yeah, he did it again. It was just kind of cute, again, in an innocent way, how he acted. Not cute like, attractive way. Nah, he had Dani for that. But it was kind of adorable. He could kind of tell that he didn't want to seem a burden (not to mention Dani talking about him in a general way) about the whole thing. He handed the tissue to the other boy. "No problem," he replied to the teen's thanks. Really, it hadn't been a problem. It would've only ended up being thrown away if he hadn't used it for this purpose. That or put in another hoodie, then another hoodie until it was used. Really, the sooner it was used, the better. It would prevent wasting it or something. Besides, he was pretty sure someone would freak if they saw Sammii with blood on his face. He was pretty sure Dani would, at least. Not to mention he himself just found it rather odd to see him with blood on his cheek. Which is why he mentioned it, obviously.
Adrien wasn't really proud of the reason he seemed so tired. At least he hadn't actually revealed the subject of them. That would probably be more embarrassing. Especially since it was his fear, which was a stupid fear, let me tell you. And he would probably be having to face death, or death, or any other sort of loss, of his friends before he told someone about it. Okay, maybe not, but something like that, anyways. He glanced sideways as Sammii replied to him. He shook his head. "Yeah, it's really not. Haven't had a good night's sleep in about...four days, I think. Dead tired, really." He yawned, then laughed. "See what I mean?" The half demon grinned ruefully. He hated yawning. Especially since it was contagious, and he'd be yawning all over the place. And sometimes it hurt his jaw. Not to mention simply made him look rather funny. Seriously. Have you ever sat there and watched someone yawn? Unless they supressed it to a degree where their looks aren't changed, they looked pretty fucking funny, let me tell you.
Looking at Sammii as he made his statement, he looked down as soon as the final word spilled from the werewolf's lips. It was so super embarrassing, really. Who the fuck was, basically, afraid of love? Especially one that was in a relationship? A good relationship in which he was happy? Seriously. Whoever was was pretty fucked up. And that was him. Pretty damn fucked up. But he understood where Sammii came from. Sometimes talking about things might help. And, hell, he probably knew Dani better than him. And he probably could at least help. He struggled to find what exactly he could say. "It's just...I have problems. With love and relationships of all things," he grimaced, glancing over at the boy. "Silly, I know. Especially since I'm dating Dani, you know. But it's just....I have this weird...fear, basically, that things aren't...," he struggled for a second. "Aren't as they seem. I'm sure Dani has told you I get like...crazy jealous, right? Well, that spawns from it." Adrien paused, looking down at the ground, rather embarrassed to admit all this. "I just...have this irrational fear that something else might be happening that I don't know about. With her, with us. It's just....I don't know. I don't know where it comes from."
Looking up at the sky, he sighed, before looking over at Sammii again. "And....I'm scared.....scared to love." Adrien guessed that Sammii probably didn't get where he was getting at. "It's these fears, these problems I have that the nightmares play on. They plague previously fine and dandy dreams, interrupting with apparations of me telling her that I love her, and she just shooting me down, laughing at me, ditching me. And I just...wake up in a sweat, scared shitless. Scared that it had actually happened." He felt a little bit better, now that he had gotten it off his chest. He had told no one of these fears, of the nightmares. Not even Dani knew of his problems. Just that he got insanely jealous. But now that he had actually told someone, he felt slightly better, though not fully so, seeing as how he still had the problems. "And I know she's not like that. I know it, but it's just....still there. Still that fear tearing at me."

After he had asked his question, the werewolf felt a little bad. That was probably something he really shouldn't have asked. Why would Adrien want to tell him what his nightmares were about, anyway? They weren't best friends or anything. He probably had plenty of other people he would rather be telling -- a person like, Dani, probably -- about the nightmares keeping him up. But Sammii was too caring most of the time to think about that. When he heard that something was wrong with someone else, he usually asked them what was wrong or tried to help them out without thinking about what it would get him into. He'd gotten into a lot of bad situations by doing that. You would think the small boy would learn to stop -- but no, of course not. He still went right on caring and trying to help everyone out who had a problem. The boy supposed that could be considered a good thing -- it definitely sounded like one. But when you thought it through more, it really wasn't that good on his part.
As he heard the boy start to speak, Sammii continued his little swinging motions, looking at the boy with curious blue eyes. It made him feel a little better about having asked the question. At least he knew that Adrien must trust him enough to tell him what was bothering him. And that always made Sammii happier.
However, as he continued to listen, the tiny smile that was always on his face slipped into a frown. Wow...those nightmares were more complex then he had been thinking. The werewolf bit down, chewing on his bottom lip as he thought of how to reply the right way. When the boy was completely finished, Sammii took it as his turn to start speaking. "Well, you're right... Dani isn't like that at all," Sammii encouraged, "She would never do that to you. I know she really, really likes you, Adrien." It was true. Even if Dani never said anything about it, Sammii was sure that she liked him -- hell, he would go so far as saying that she loved the half-demon. Sammii didn't know if Dani had told Adrien yet, but it seemed like she hadn't. Which also made sense to the werewolf. Dani had always had issues with denying the truth. That was the reason she had kept the fact that she had previously loved Sammii a secret for so long. Until Ezra figured it out and fucked up everything.
"But...I don't think your fear is silly -- not at all. Its actually...pretty rational, I guess." Releasing one of his hands from the chains of the swing, Sammii brushed a few strands of black-colored hair fom his eyes, thinking. "Actually...I still worry. A lot... I worry so much that Ezra is doing things with other people behind my back..." Then he realized that his fear probably was more rational than Adrien's. "Well. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time. But you understand what I'm saying? Dani has never done anything behind your back -- and if she did, I think the world would explode, or something. Not to mention, I'd know. And yell at her for it." The small boy flashed Adrien a small smile, trying to help cheer him up a little bit, hopefully. Sammii knew that, if he ever found out Dani had actually cheated on someone, she'd be in some serious trouble with him. He wouldn't stand for that.
Then Sammii continued quietly. "I really think you don't need to be worried so much..." Sammii admitted. "Love...well, it is kinda scary -- it was when I found it. And I never thought it would be. I think everyone gets scared. Ah...please don't mention this, he'll get pissed at me, but Ezra was too. I know he was. Even if he didn't tell me. You just... Don't let her go. You guys are really great for each other."

MAYBE IT'S NOT MY WEEKEND!but it's gonna be my year Adrien really didn't know what possessed him to talk to Sammii about it. I mean, not many people discuss things like one's nightmares with someone that isn't your best friend, or even remotely close. Sure, they were friends, but not super close or anything. They shared a common friend, and they had no general problems with each other. And that was about as far as their relationship went. So he didn't know why he was telling this to him. Of course, Dani wasn't the first person he'd talk to about it, simply because it involved her, and he didn't want her to know those things about him. Not yet. He'd tell her eventually, but not now. And Kjara...he hadn't seen her in a while. Those were the first two people that he could think of that he could tell, but here he was, telling Sammii. Maybe he had bottled them up for too long, and now they just busted out of the figurative bottle they had been in, and, because Sammii had been near, he was the one that was on the receiving end of his rant about his worries and fears. Or maybe he was just making shit up. Either way, it was out, and he couldn't take it back.
But just because someone had been around him didn't mean that he'd sit there and tell just anyone. He wasn't about to spill any of that to Ezra, now. But for some reason, Adrien felt like he could trust Sammii. He didn't think the werewolf going off spilling any of this to anybody, not to mention Dani, despite the fact that his girlfriend and the junior were inseperable. He just felt like the boy would keep this to himself. Well, unless the situation was life or death (how that would happen, don't ask him), or it was crucial for something. But maybe he was just thinking things. But he was pretty damn sure that he could trust Sammii with this, and that the boy wouldn't speak of it unless it was absolutely necessary.
As he finished and waited for the werewolf's response, he sighed, lightly swinging back and forth, eyes trained on the ground beneath his van-clad feet. He noticed that there was more sprouts of grass shooting up from the dirt, a sign that people hadn't been kicking off from that spot in a while. Which made sense, this being an abandoned amusement park and all, but usually there were only a few sparse stalks of grass among the brown soil, not as much as there was now. Of course, people actually did come here, despite the fact that it was locked up. It was just rather interesting. An abandoned amusement park. Freaky, huh? Not. But he knew others that came down here and sat on the swings when they were bored. Just apparently no one had done it in days. At least not in this swing, in any case.
Adrien looked up as Sammii spoke, watching the werewolf. At his first words, a light smile covered his lips. "Yeah, I know. I think I would've at least heard of it if she was." And he was. He had friends all about, even if it didn't see obvious, and he knew that he would have heard about any such things about Dani if she was as such. Well, he was pretty sure he would, in any case. The senior highly doubted something like that wouldn't make it's way around to him. "I know...but it's still, you know, one of those things that just nags at me. I'm just a screwed up person," he laughed halfheartedly. He was kind of screwed up, at least if you asked him. Sure, there were those super jealous types, the over protective types, but he was a combination of both, and more. It was stupid to think that Dani would be unfaithful, but that was how he was. With a slight smile, he looked over at Sammii. "Thanks, though. I would hope that she reall, really likes me. Else somethings a bit screwed up here, eh?" It was, of course, a joke. He knew, he knew that she really liked him. At least that's what she seemed to show, anyways. And he believed it, too.
Startled, he looked up at Sammii, blinking. "Really?" he inquired, surprise etched in his face. If it weren't for the fact that he knew that Sammii wasn't the type to cruelly tease another, he would think it would happen. If it were someone else, he was pretty damn sure he'd be teased and laughed at about it. Who was afraid of love? It was somewhat stupid, really. But apparently not as stupid as he thought, not according to the werewolf, anyways. A small smile overtook his lips as he mentioned that he still worried about Ezra. Yeah, that was pretty much understandable. The demon was well known for his sluttier side. And yet, Sammii still stayed by his side. That was some dedication, right there. "Yeah...I see where you're coming from. You have a lot to worry about with Ez." No, it wasn't a nickname. Ez was just simpler than Ezra. Besides, half the school's populationg called him that even if they weren't even friends with him. Ezra was just more of a mouthful, despite the fact that the name was only compromised of four letters. At Sammii's mention that the world would explode if Dani did anything behind his back, he grinned. Yeah, when he thought about it, the world probably would explode. "Yeah, I can see that happening," he replied. He also nodded. It would make sense that the werewolf would yell at the girl for it. He didn't stand for his boyfriend cheating (even if Sammii was still always there, at least so it seemed to him), so why would he stand for his best friend cheating? "Yeah," he hummed. He might not be the best of friends with the junior, but talking with him was definitely helping. Well, at least somewhat helping.
Sammii continued to speak, and Adrien's eyes continued to be trained on the boy. Eye contact was always a good thing when talking, besides, he didn't want to seem rude by not looking at the junior. Sure, everyone might be afraid of it at sometime, but were they continually afraid of it? To love, and to be loved? He didn't think so, but hopefully, with time, he'd get over it. It was still helpful to know that others had problems with starting out in a relationship, and it wasn't just him. "Really?" He felt like an idiot saying that again, but it was all he could think of it in his worn out state. "I guess...it makes sense, I mean. It's.. he struggled to find the right word to explain his thoughts. "It's difficult to get used to, just having this other person there...someone that cares for you as much as you care for them, and in that special way that no one else has. It's difficult." He wanted to laugh at Sammii saying even Ezra was afraid, but he didn't. In present company, it wasn't a smart idea. Besides, he had trusted Sammii with something he hadn't even spoken to Dani about, so there was that bit of respect that was necessary. And laughing at something about Sammii's boyfriend probably would cross that line of respect.
Adrien sighed, and shook his head. "Enough of this morose topic. How're you doing?" He guessed, by default, Ezra would be mentioned somewhere, but hey, that was okay. Right now, anyways.
