Parker threw on a green hoodie and slipped on his white DC shoes and headed out the door. He climbed down the steps of his dorm and wondered what he was doing. Samson was straight and even though they were best friends this was probably odd. Since when did guys bring each other late night snacks? This felt more like something you did when you liked someone or were dating them.
He chuckled and continued down the hall. Nah, they were just best buddies. Why wouldn't he grab some nachos for his friend if he wanted them? They hadn't seen each other in forever. This was the perfect time for them to chat and catch up. Parker entered the dining hall and decided he would grab the best looking nachos for his friend. You couldn't settle for less than the best for such a great guy. Here was his chance to show his appreciate to Samson. They always had a harder time showing each other they cared. He figured it was because of the different in their sexuality. There were times he thought that things between him and Samson would be perfect if only he were gay. Parker shrugged the thought off as quickly as it entered his mind. He couldn't think of his best friend that way. Something inside of him felt a little dirty. He took the best looking plate of nachos that were still warm. Samson better appreciate him for this! The other students wouldn't let him forget this if they knew what he was doing.
Parker skipped steps two at a time on the way back to the dorms. Instead of taking his usual path to dorm one, he took a turn and went down the hall to dorm two. This was where Samson had said that he was staying, right? He sure hoped he didn't mess this one up. Why didn't he write it down on a piece of paper somewhere? How stupid could he be sometimes? Parker swallowed hard and noticed that he was a little shakey. Why was he nervous? This was a little odd. He had hung out with his best friend a thousand times before. Never late at night in his dorm room though. This was it. He shook his body out in order to relax a little bit. Parker took a deep breath and knocked quietly, but firmly on the door. What if Samson didn't answer the door or he wasn't alone? He would have to come up with a good excuse for coming to his dorm so late. Shit! Why didn't he come up with a backup plan? He didn't assume he would need to resort to one. Parker decided that if that was the case then he would just have to think on his feet. He was here now and he wasn't going to turn back. Here goes nothing. Before he could change his mind, he pulled back and knocked on the door. Please be alone. Please be alone. Please be alone. He repeated quietly to himself with his eyes closed. This may turn out to be a very interesting situation....

Even as the computer that was nestled in his lap was still making its sign off noise, Samson pushed the lid of the laptop to a close. He then sat for a full five minutes, just staring at the wall, and thinking. He wondered whether he was wrong to let Parker go get him food. The other boy had never done that for him before. Sure they hadn't spoken in a while, so it was most probable that Parker just wanted to catch up, but considering the fact that he had been flirting mildly with him over AIM... it felt a little strange to him.
As he moved the laptop onto the bedside table, and began to rise from the bed, Samson shook his head slightly. His thoughts were ridiculous. There was no way that Parker was coming over with any expectations. Parker knew that he was completely straight, and that this would never change. Even in the conversation they had just been having over the internet, Samson had made sure to specify that he was kidding after every flirty comment he'd made. It was ludicrous of him to suspect Parker of such naivety. His suspicions actually made Samson feel terrible, as if he was a bad friend for not trusting his friend to respect his boundaries. He'd have to make up for that by being an especially great friend when Parker arrived.
Still, even with this in mind, Samson wished that one of his dorm mates could have been there. That would have helped him relax a little. Sadly, it seemed that unlike himself, they all had lives to attend to - even this late at night. Evan was probably doing something with Xio, and the other guys were off doing whatever it was that they did. It was hard for him to say what, as he didn't really know any of his dorm mates overly well.
Glancing down at himself, and his attire, Samson decided that he should throw some more clothes on. Even without his slight case of the nerves at the thought that maybe Parker was expecting something out of him, Samson didn't really enjoy hanging out with people when all he was wearing were some boxers and a singlet. So, moving towards the clothes trunk that was situated at the end of his bed, he quickly pulled out a pair of jeans and a sweater. As he was pulling the sweater over his head, the sound of knocking on the heavy wooden door alerted him to Parkers arrival.
Throwing himself a quick look over in the mirror to make sure that he hadn't pulled the sweater on backwards or anything stupid like that, Samson padded over to the door, and pulled it open. Immediately, a smile washed over his face, as his eyes fell on Parker. Despite everything that had been running through his head while he'd been waiting for his friend to arrive, Samson was instantly able to relax away from that. Parker was one of his best friends, and gay or not, he felt entirely comfortable around him.
"My hero..." Samson indicated to the nachos that Parker held so that he would know what he was talking about, before stepping back to allow Parker access to the room. "How was the trip over here?" Stupid question really, but Samson laughed slightly as he asked it, to show that he wasn't really being serious with it.

Parker started getting anxious as he heard someone moving around inside. Maybe it wasn't going to be Samson who answered. What if someone was going to open the door and pull some kind of prank on him. It wasn't exactly like their friendship was normally like this. This was the first time since they met that he had even come to Samson's dorm. Something about that kind of seemed odd to him now. Did his friend secretly feel uncomfortable around him? Before he really had time to think about it, he heard the doorknob turn and saw a familiar face in front of him.
"I have been called worse." Parker chuckled and handed the nachos over to his best friend. He had a feeling this was going to be a lot of fun. Samson moved aside to let him know he was welcome to enter. He passed by his friend and couldn't help but smile at his words. "A nightmare. I passed couples having sex and had to endure the trip all the way to the kitchen and back up. You owe me big, buddy!" His smile grew wide to let his friend know he was messing with him. Not that it would be unusual to pass students having sex in the hall. Winterthorne was a school full of messed up and tormented students. You never quite knew what you were going to see walking down the halls.
Parker looked around and took a seat on the edge of Samson's bed. He didn't think about whether or not this would make him uncomfortable, but there were not a lot of seating options. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed his clothes trunk was open. Grinning, he decided to poke fun at his friend. "Samson, you didn't have to get dressed up for me. This is not a date." Parker leaned back on his arms and looked over at his friend. Was there something wrong with the nachos? His friend had yet to touch them. Maybe he really wasn't that hungry. This could get awkward. "Something wrong with the nachos?" He questioned his friend curiously. The last thing he wanted was for this experience to get awkward.
He had so much to catch up with his friend about. They hadn't seen each other in months now and there seemed to be even more awkwardness between them. Parker also had sensed a small amount of discomfort between the two of them, but he figured it was because Samson was straight. Neither one of them wanted anything weird to happen or come between their friendship. After a rather long moment of silence, Parker smiled and decided he would have to pry information out of his friend, like usual. "Why are you so quiet? We haven't seen each other in months! I would think you would have a lot to talk about." He was smiling the whole time he questioned his friend. No need to make Samson feel bad about being quiet because that was the type of person he was. He patted beside him which everyone knew was the universal "take a seat beside me" signal. Parker was suddenly aware of the fact he appeared he just rolled out of bed. He was dressed in white lounging pants and under his green hoodie he wore a black wife beater. Not exactly what he normally left the dorm wearing. The thought of seeing Samson again after several months exciting him enough to just throw on the first things in his reach. He hoped his friend wouldn't mind too much. It wasn't like they were going to hook up and he surely wasn't staying the night here. Why should it bother Samson at all really? They were close enough friends, right?
((ooc- Sorry it sucks! At least I got you a post like I said. ))
