general , THE EYES HAVE IT ,
ah, the eyes. what is there to say about devon's eyes. they're is probably only one word for them, and that word is amazing. and it's the truth. many people believe that devon uses colored contact lenses and such, but thats a lie. in fact, devons bright sky blue eyes are very real. they are perfectly placed upon his face and gifted with long dark lashes. they look sometimes even girly, but who cares when they are that perfect? they are framed with dark perfectly plucked eyebrows, down to the last little hair. devon makes sure to keep them void of any substance, such as eyeliner and eyeshadow, because, come on? who needs make up when they look that good without?

NOT A HAIR OUT OF PLACE ,
ah, the hair. devon's hair is a kind of mop, shall we call it, on the top of his head. its a natural dark brown color, which in the suns looks a little lighter than it is. he prefers to keep dye away, and to this day has never used hair dye. though that doesn't mean that devon doesn't use every hair product possible to keep it in tip-top condition. his hair is subject to hair straighteners, but is protected by heat products of course. it is cut every month to keep it going in front of his eyes, because they're is nothing more annoying. devon's hair constantly smells of mint, because of the mint shampoo and conditioner he uses.

YOUR FACE WILL STAY THAT WAY ,
devon is first and foremost, very pale. but many say that has come with being a vampire. another thing about devon that many people pick up on is the fact that his skin is flawless. not a dimple or scar in sight. though devon does use moisturizers to keep all nice and cute, it doesn't take a lot to keep up this flawless appearance. his lips are pinky colored, but red when he has had blood, and adorned with two piercings, snake bits of course. they add to his cute appearance by far. he has smooth cheeks and beautiful white teeth, some more pointy than others obviously.

BODY OF AN ANGEL VAMPIRE ,
devon is rather tall... ish. he stands at about five foot nine, which isn't too bad. he is a thin boy, but not too much so. he doesn't tend to put weight on easily, so he usually stays at a rather thin figure. devon takes care of his body. he likes to paint his nails to keep them nice, and they are quite long for a boy. he has little muscle, and he isn't one of those macho guys with the six pack and pecks, but he does like to tone up. not that he needs muscles, seeing as how he has super human strength anyway.

MAN, YOU'VE GOT STYLE ,
devon generally wears smart things, but dressed down. he likes to wear bold t-shirts with cute patterns, paired with a blazer. he loves wearing jeans, and anything tight. tight is good. he looks good in everything he wears. after all, if it doesn't look good, he won't be seen wearing it. devon likes to be cold, he doesn't really like to be warm, so most of the time you will see him in only a t-shirt. but sometimes the hoodies and sweatshirts will come out. but only if there is dire need. devon has many different snakebites, he prefers studs and he has a blue set that match his eyes. but he prefers just plain old silver.

general , devon is rather shy, especially around people he doesn't know. the more he knows you, the less likely he is to be shy around you, but he still is mostly shy around everyone. he stutters a lot, which adds to his shyness. he tends to prefer people coming over to talk to him, than be the initiator of conversation. mostly as he is scared he will make a fool of himself or you'll be rude, which he hates. he doesn't open up easily, but once he does, you're his friend for life, unless you do something really bad. even though he is shy, devon is one of those people that is easy to get along with. he will go out of his way to help people, and he hates arguing with others. though he will fight back if someone starts with him of course. he is not someone who will back down easily, especially if he is protecting someone. he is very loyal in that way.

devon is someone who hates hurting people in any way, and he can be seriously naive. though he is not very trusting, he is easily manipulated, and will follow you very easily. he doesn't get angry very often, but when he does, he tends to blow up. he is very patient and a very good listener, though he isn't always good at the advice giving side. but he tries. he likes to take care of himself, but isn't all that vain. he is a perfectionist at heart, and strives for excellance, he doesn't do anything by halves. he loves sex, and though he's shy he can be very seductive when he wants to be.

history , it all begins with the parents, like any other childs history. but lets skip the boringness of how they met and all. they were in love, they were vampires, end of their story. of course james and maria were closer than close, sharing everything. and soon came the time to enter parenthood. they had two children before devon was even thought about. kirkland and lilia. two beautiful children, with a number of years between them. after all, the parents didn't want to rush things. with two children, two growing vampires, they were happy. but years later, a little baby popped up. devon ruben hawthorne was born into the world.

it was a good birth, no complications, no drama. just how the once again vampire parents liked it. devon was a shy child, even from a young age. and was always very much a mummy's boy. as a baby he would always cling to his mother, and even throughout infancy it was very much the same story. devon was always spoiled. as a child he got everything he needed and wanted, very much like his older brother and sister. the parents treated their children equally as they could, as not to start any sibling rivalry or jealousy. and it seemed to work quite well, all in all. until devon grew old enough to start talking back when his older brother teased him.

all in all, devon had a normal life. that was up until the age of about eleven. that was around the time devon learned of, what his mother called, his 'powers'. he learned he could move things without touching them. he was taught how to drink from mortals by his father and brother, and though he hated to feed from people, learned to do it in a pain free way. as time went on, devon only seemed to get shyer, devolving a stutter and a habit of constantly gnawing at his lip.

also as he grew, at about age fourteen, devon started to notice both girls AND boys. and sex. devon lost his virginity at fourteen, to a sixteen year old girl who had been 'gagging for it'. he enjoyed it very much, but couldn't help but wonder if it was the same with a boy. so he had sex with a boy, of course being the top. he found that he liked both equally and started to have sex rather regularly with people he found that were willing. he thoroughly enjoyed sex, although he wasn't addicted. though he never got attached, he didn't want to have attachments, hell no.

and so the story leads now to the present day. devon, shy as ever, is now here. wanting to meet some cute girls and guys to have sex with, and generally have a good time.
