SMASH IT UP, SMASH IT UP I'M GONNA KICK IT DOWN!
be cool tonight, don't wanna start a fight
[/blockquote][/blockquote]Jay stretched as she studied her reflection in the mirror. Everything had to be just right. She wasn't a perfectionist (far from it) but like hell she was going to go out without looking good. It was blasphemy to think that she would. The slender girl studied her bikini-clad form. The bikini was white with bright blue strings, various animal patterns in bright colors, such as the same blue, yellow, hot pink, red, and purple. Although the purple wasn't extremely bright. It worked out. Both the top and bottom were designed as such, though the bottom was hidden by a blue (yes, bright blue) multi-tiered skirt. Around her skinny wrists were blue, yellow, pink, and purple bangles. Her ears were adorned with two music notes. One in pink, the other in green. Laying on her chest by a pink beaded chain was a rainbow with a cloud on it. Hanging off her shoulders was her beach towel, splashed in color with the pictures of several fairies, including Tinker Bell, one of her all time favorite Disney characters.
Satisfied with her appearance, she skipped over to the bathroom to straighten her hair carefully, her black hair streaked with pink. She carefully ran her hair through the slender object, letting every strand becoming straightened by the heat applied to it. That done, she grabbed her basket full of various colored hair extensions and pulled out a blonde one. Holding it up to her hair, she compared it to her outfit and dyed streaks. Satisfied, she put it in, careful to make sure it wasn't too obvious that it wasn't actually her hair. She walked back to the dorm. Looking at the other beds occupying the room, she shrugged. She hadn't seen several of her roommates in a few days, but oh well. They just kept missing each other. Sure, they all slept in the same room. (At least she was pretty sure they all did...) but she simply went to bed earlier and woke up later than them, apparently. It didn't really matter, but she would like to know that they were alive, at the very least.
Light colored eyes glanced once more around the room, making sure she hadn't forgotten anything, and grabbed a silver bag adorned with similar patterns to match her bikini and slipped into black shoes that also had matching patterns. Hey, she wasn't going to clash, that was for sure. In the bag was her keys, cell phone, sketch pad, and various pens and pencils, as well as other odds and ends, including extra eyeliner and mascara, having applied it when she woke up. Plus, it was water proof, which was perfect for today.
It was Winterthorne beach party, and, damn, was she excited for it. Jordan would get to see all her friends, plus have fun in the water. (Not to mention beat all their asses, except Sammii, in water fights. Ah, the joys of hydrokinesis.) And, also, she'd get to show off her new bikini that she lovlovloved!
The fallen angel glided down the halls (they were relatively empty, so she had let out her wings and started to fly), saddened by the lack of people in the halls. They were either still getting ready, or already there. Several of those she saw in the hall (and had to swerve and somersault to avoid hitting with her large wingspan) were dressed in beachwear and headed to the party.
Jay definitely loved parties. Then again, she was one of those crazy cats that just loved anything that could get her even more hyper than she was. And there just had to be sugar galore at the party. Plus alcohol, which she still liked, though she didn't drink as much as she used to.
Exiting the hall, she flew higher up in the air, grinning as the sight of the party in front of her was revealed. The junior divebombed toward it, pulling up as the ground came rushing up to meet her.
Looking around, she was saddened that she didn't see any of her friends. Not yet, anyways. Of course, there were plenty of people there that she knew. The hyper girl knew most everybody at the school, just because she was friendly. Perhaps over friendly, but that was okay. At least in her book. If other people didn't like that about her, then too effing bad, she was the way she was, and they could just deal with it. Humming softly to herself, she set down her Tinkerbell beach towel and sat down on it, basking in the sun.
Germany was such a weird place, the thought crossed her mind as she smile lazily in amusement. The winters were coldcoldcold. She kind of hated winter, despite the fact that she could control the snow then, which made snowball fights awesome. (Hey, winning them was the best part, man!) And then, when summer rolled around, it was nice and hot. Bipolar, much? But, hey, she wasn't complaining. She got to swim around in a bikini, what more could she ask for?
