Night vision: Xio can see clearly in the dark.

Abalience: Xio is able to absorb psyches and abilities of individuals or several beings at once, though the experience can be confusing and disorienting for her. This includes their personality, memories, and often their physical characteristics. In the case of superpowered individuals, she also absorbs any extra abilities they might possess. This absorption usually leaves its victim weakened, and sometimes unconscious. Their powers may also be temporarily weakened or removed. This transfer is usually temporary, lasting for a period of time relative to how long contact is maintained, but if Xio holds on to her victim for too long, the transfer may become permanent, leaving the victim dead. Most often this process happens instantly when Xio touches someone, but in certain instances where a being has possessed an extraordinary level of power they are able to resist her, and she may only share part of their memories and power. As Xio is absorbing the total psyche of a person, there is a risk of a personality overwhelming her and taking control of her body. It has also been shown that even though Xio forgets the memories she has absorbed when a psyche returns to its body, 'echoes' of their personalities remain buried in her mind.

general , Xio wasn't born to be a super model. No, far from it. At five feet and five inches she's way below the cutoff rate. Besides her breasts are only at a C cup, and she doesn't plan on breast implants anytime soon. There is a that lack of pigment in her skin that she refuses to get tanned. Seriously. She’s tried before. Despite the Texan sun always beating down on her, Xio is as white as ghost. She used to absolutely hate her light skin but over the years, she learned to like it. It’s not sickeningly white to the point where she looks ills, its just this nice creamy shade that works for her. You can usually find her wearing simply skinny jeans and nice shirts or tee shirts. She also really likes Leggings and long dressy shirts.

general , If you had to describe Xio in one word, it would be much to difficult because she could range anywhere from Golden, to stuck up. She’s not stuck up, for sure, but she often looks that way because of her shyness. It happens to be big issue that usually keeps her from talking to people unless she absolutely has to. She will most definitely not randomly go up to a person and start talking. She usually has to force herself to, or work up the courage. And even then she tries not to talk to anyone because for one, they obviously don’t want to talk to her, and two, what if she hurt them? Xio is that ‘best friend’ who usually has a lot to say but never does. She tends to keep things bottled up inside, including her emotions which often lead to some not so good coping. She loves to laugh and if you know her well enough, than you know that she has no problem hanging out and being stupid, but only with her friends. She has to feel pretty comfortable around you before she let her guard down.

Xio’s pretty smart. She’s no genius, but she knows her stuff. Don’t mistake her for an idiot because knowledge is one thing she prided herself on in when she attended public school. However, she is a bit naïve. When it comes to guys, she doesn’t know much about flirting or getting their attention and she doesn’t know how to read them well. It doesn’t matter much, because they don’t really pay attention to her and she stays as far away from them as possible. The last guy she kissed ended up having to go to the emergency room.

She’s a bit OCD about random stuff and usually its only a phase that lasts a little while, except for her constant habit to worry. She doesn’t sleep much at night, so you’ll often find her sitting her bed over analyzing yet another thing. She tries to not care what people think of her, she really does, but a small part of her always does anyway. She’s strong willed, and stubborn but if you find the way, very easy to manipulate. Sometimes she's just too gullible for her own good. She’ll stand up for her friends but she’s doesn’t like fighting much. And she tends to push people away once they get too close. She figures, if she pushes them away first then they can't hurt her later.

Ohyah....And one more thing...Xio may or may not be super...clumsy. Ha. Okay, so she is. Like, ALOT. Alot, alot. She trips over a flat surface for god sakes. This girl can go to sit and fall. Especially if she's nervous. Oh, god. Watch out. She makes walking seem like a graceful sport....that she hasn't mastered. Not saying she's always clumsy. Just at those moments when she's not trying to be clumsy. You know?

history , Xio never clearly discovered her powers until the age of sixteen. Before that they never fully emerged so they only appeared as weird coincidences or something unexplainable that she just happened to around at the time. Often when she would hold hands with someone or touch them for longer than a second they would leave dizzy and weak. People never really put two and two together. At least not until she first kissed her boyfriend taylor when she was nine. After a small peck, no longer than three seconds, the boy collapsed from the energy drain. She didn’t know what was happening at the time she just knew that it was bad. Taylor was rushed to the ER and his condition was never diagnosed. All they could conclude was that his energy levels had been low and it had been a sort of human dysfunction. When she went to visit him, everything was okay until she touched his hand. The heart monitors went crazy and dropped instantly and she was yanked away from him. The very contact of skin on skin with her mother who had tried to move her away proved hazardous and if Xio hadn’t let go, her mother would have had to join Taylor in the hospital.

It was evident that something was wrong with Xio. No one knew what it was they just knew to stay away from her. Not even her parents would touch her. They kept their distance and had their own look of disgust for her. They saw this as something disgusting and horrible. She was a freak, even in their eyes. Xio could do nothing but agree. No one wanted to talk to her. No one wanted to touch her. No one wanted to be around her. Her own family hated her presence. Her sister pretended she didn’t exist. Everyone but her little brother Casey. Everything she did was interesting to him. He was the only person to care how her day was going and he was constantly at her heels asking her questions and wanting to know more. To him, she was no different. It was a gift that he couldn’t get enough of, even though it wasn’t his.

Eventually her parents got tired of having to keep switching schools because Xio couldn’t step foot inside one without being harassed or bullied. Once she purposely grabbed a girl’s wrist and held on because the girl kept calling her a freak. The girl had to be hospitalized and Xio was immediately removed from the school. It was then that her parents put their foot down. They weren’t going to harbor a freak and after two years or research they found what they were looking for: Winterthorne Academy. Xio was kicked out the door and shoved into the Academy as quickly as possible and the last words her mother told her were “Don’t come home until you’re normal.”
